TL;DR

Pivio Cloud is a phone remote for the agents running in Pivio on your desktop: Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode. Watch live output, reply when an agent is blocked, stop or start runs, then review the diff, commit, and push. Pairing is one QR scan, the connection is end-to-end encrypted, and it costs $3.99/month billed yearly ($5.99 monthly) on top of the one-time desktop license.

What you can do from the phone

  • Watch agents live. Every running agent with its output streaming in real time, grouped by what needs your reply and what's still working.
  • Steer from your pocket. Send a prompt, approve a step, kill a run, or start a fresh agent in any project. The same control you have at your desk.
  • Review and ship. Read the diff, stage, commit, and push. Land the change before you're back at the keyboard.
  • Ride the schedule. Prompts you scheduled around a rate-limit reset fire while you're out; your phone shows what came back.

How pairing works

Open Pivio on your desktop, scan the QR code with your phone, and you're connected. The link between phone and desktop is end-to-end encrypted: the relay that brokers the connection moves bytes it cannot read, so your prompts and code stay between your two devices. There's no separate account to create.

One honest limitation: the agents run on your machine, not in our cloud. The desktop app has to be running for the remote to have something to control. That's the trade that keeps your code local.

Pivio Cloud vs the other phone remotes

You have real options here, and the right one depends on your stack. Anthropic's own Claude Code Remote Control shipped in February 2026 and is the simplest choice if Claude Code is the only agent you run: it's official and free with your Claude plan, and it does one tool well. Omnara is a strong open-source, mobile-first control plane with its own subscription. Pivio Cloud earns its place when you run more than one CLI: it's the only remote where Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode sit side by side, next to the kanban board and the scheduled prompts you already manage on the desktop.

Pricing

Pivio Cloud is an optional add-on to the Pivio desktop license: $3.99/month billed yearly (save $24 a year) or $5.99/month billed monthly. The desktop app stays a one-time purchase; you can try it free for 7 days with no account and no card.

Frequently asked questions

Can I control Claude Code from my phone?

Yes. Pivio Cloud pairs your phone to the Pivio desktop app with one QR scan. You see every running agent with its output streaming live, you can send a prompt, approve a step, stop a run, or start a fresh agent, and you can read the diff, commit, and push. It works the same for Codex and OpenCode agents, not just Claude Code.

How is this different from Anthropic’s Remote Control?

Claude Code Remote Control (shipped February 2026) is official and well built, but it only drives Claude Code. Pivio Cloud is the remote for your whole agent stack: Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode side by side, plus the kanban board and scheduled prompts you set up on the desktop. If you only ever run Claude Code, Remote Control may be all you need.

Can Pivio read my code or prompts?

No. The connection between your phone and your machine is end-to-end encrypted; the relay brokers bytes it cannot read. Your prompts and code go from your desktop to your phone, not to us.

Do my agents keep running when my laptop is closed?

The agents run on your machine, so the desktop app needs to be running with the machine awake. Pivio Cloud is a remote control, not a cloud runtime: leave Pivio open at your desk and you can watch, steer, and ship from anywhere.

How much does Pivio Cloud cost?

Pivio Cloud is an optional subscription add-on to the one-time Pivio license: $3.99/month billed yearly, or $5.99/month billed monthly. The desktop app itself has no subscription.
