Privacy
Privacy-friendly analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool, to understand how this site is used — how many people visit, which pages and sections they reach, and which buttons they click. This helps us improve Pivio.
It is designed to respect you:
- • No cookies. Nothing is stored on your device, so there is no consent banner to click through.
- • No personal data. We don’t collect names, emails, or anything that identifies you. Your IP address is never stored — it’s used only momentarily, in anonymized form, to count unique visits.
- • No cross-site tracking. Your activity is never followed across other websites, and your data is never sold or shared with advertisers.
- • Aggregate only. We only ever see anonymized, aggregate statistics — never an individual person’s browsing.
Purchases & license keys
When you buy Pivio, payment and license delivery are handled by our merchant of record, Polar, which processes your email and payment details to complete the sale and send your license key. We don’t store your card details. See Polar’s own privacy policy for how they handle that data.
When the app checks your license (when you open it, and about twice a day while it stays open), we record the date of that check so we can tell how many people are actively using Pivio. We store a one-way hash of your license key, never the key itself, and nothing about your projects, prompts, or files. No profile is built, and this is never shared with anyone.
